I have recently graduated from the University of Michigan with my Master's in Education and at a time where teaching jobs are being cut across the country, I've decided that I am ready to take my career in a new direction. I was recommended to look into this group by a friend who also made the switch from Education to the world of Corporate Communications. I attended the Cable Mavericks Masters Forum this past week at the Paley Center and came to realize that I really think I could make great contributions within the field of Media and so I am looking to forge connections with anyone working in Communications or Media industries. If anyone else has been forced by the economy to make the switch from Education to the Corporate world and has any advice, I would really appreciate it!
